Mother Daughter Family Daycare
Not only has it been a place where I can trust the staff but, my kids love being there and we consider the staff a part of our family. Highly recommend the Gingerbread to anyone that is in need of trusted loving care. We understand the challenges that toddlers face in a social learning setting, and have experience in helping them adjust to being part of a group and the classroom environment. Toddlers have the opportunity to physically explore their world inside and outside of the classroom.
My wife and I were first time parents and needed to find a daycare that we would be comfortable with and alleviate the added worries of being first time parents. Katie was warm, welcoming, informative, and responsive to our needs and questions. The teachers are great and equally responsive to our needs as a family! You can truly tell they enjoy what they do and love being around children. They help and support each other throughout the day so the kids’ needs are always met. We have personal experience with how well everyone supports each other when our daughter was diagnosed with developmental hip dysplasia.
We now have our little boy enrolled at Ginger Bread and we look forward to many more years of their amazing care for our kids. We are so grateful for the nurturing environment the Gingerbread house has provided to assist in the development of our son. The teachers and director at this facility go above and beyond with their attention to detail in his daily care. Our son started when he was around 6 months, for the past year and a half I drive an extra 30 minutes out of my way so he can attend this daycare and I will continue to do so.
Thanks to the support of our fabulous Moms who spread the word (to their closest friends) we have had a wait list for years. We are proud to announce that due to the overwhelming support we have now expanded to our second Milford location. Over the past 6 years we have taken both our kids to GBH and immediately felt like family. All the teachers have gone above and beyond to ensure they have a safe place to learn, develop & grow into their personalities.
They also begin more structured activities, such as learning centers and circle time. Your toddler will begin learning concepts of color and size, and will start to build their vocabulary. Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play. The teacher reinforces the babies’ development without disrupting their daily schedule.
The staff have been flexible in navigating many changes in our family life. We appreciate their support and guidance as our two children grow and enter into the school system. Additionally we value the education of the children we care for, our dedicated teachers and also the importance of building strong relationships with parents. We have a wide range of programs available in Los Angeles, including full-time and part time daycare for infants and toddlers. The Gingerbread house is a center that was built to be a childcare facility, and provides an open environment – yet age appropriate rooms and spaces.
